We are so happy that you are supporting us by checking out this blog and how you can help. James 5:16 says "The prayer of the righteous is powerful and effective". Prayer is the absolute best and first way we want you to help. Talk to the Lord and, during your time, please include some of the requests listed below. We will try to update it as specific needs arise.
-We Praise God that we are able to go pick up our little girl before the end of the year!
Travel date is Dec 9th. Gotcha date is Dec 12th. That is when we actually "get" her :o)
-Prayer that we are able to finish details needed before travel.
-Prayer for safety traveling and for opportunities to be a light for God.
-Praise that Bethany has been so excited and supportive through all of this.
-Praise to God! The increase in follow-up fees was not as extreme as we feared.
-That God would direct our steps, prioritize our tasks, provide our needs, and protect our little girl.
-For the Chinese Christians to whom are being added daily! Protection and a firm faith in the Lord despite extrememe difficulty.
-Children who have lost their family either due to abandonment, death, disaster, or other means, and are in need of loving support.
-That God would bless the adults who extend love to kids who just need a hug or a listening ear.
Help Bring Joylee Home
The cost of international adoption is extremely expensive. When we began this journey we were confident that God would provide all that we needed when we needed it. That belief has not wavered. Now that we know who and where our little girl is, we need to begin gearing up our fundraising efforts to raise the final funds necessary for both the adoption fees as well as the travel fees we will be facing in the next few months.
